All funds raised from the weekend are distributed to community organisations in Kenilworth. The Kenilworth Hall, Show and Recreation Ground Association Inc utilises the funds to improve amenities at the hall and surrounding area; the Swimming Pool maintains its facility at the grounds with help of the income from the event; the local emergency services - the SES and the Kenilworth First Responders are greatly aided by the monies raised as is the community newspaper the Mary Valley Voice (http://www.maryvalleyvoice.com/). All members of these organisations would like to express their appreciation to the entrants in Chook Chase events over previous years.
